About Roanoke, IN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Roanoke, Indiana is a small town with about 1,700 residents. It historically served as fishing and hunting grounds for the Miami Indians before becoming a prosperous commercial center in the mid-1800s. Conveniently located between Fort Wayne and Huntington, Roanoke is one of the fastest growing communities in Huntington County. While the community may offer a small town atmosphere within a rural setting, it still provides great public services, a safe living environment, and employment opportunities.

Roanoke is a great place to spend a day, a weekend, or a lifetime, as there are plenty of things to see here. Board & Brush Creative Studio allows visitors to choose from over 100 wood signs to create and customize for their homes. Hillside Shooting Sports offers a rifle range, two trap fields, stand fields, and pistol ranges. Shopping has also become extremely popular in this small community, with original pieces available at Crestwoods Gallery, Tree of Life Gallery, The North End, and Paper Moon, among many others.

Residents of the Roanoke area are treated to vastly different weather conditions throughout the year. Winters here are cold and snowy, with average highs in the low- to mid-30s during January and February. Residents should be sure to have their existing gas or electric furnace serviced regularly to ensure it will be ready for use when cold weather conditions strike.

While the spring months are wet and warm, hot temperatures and high humidity are common during the summer season. Average daily highs in July reach about 84 degrees, but oppressive humidity levels may make it feel even warmer. The right climate controls are important in order to stay comfortable throughout the season, and many residents rely heavily on their central air conditioning systems. Not only will a good system keep indoor temperatures comfortable, but they’ll also improve indoor air quality.
